I will stamp all over 'credible fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.

Ex two time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the novice remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Difference

As both boxers participated in the traditional face-off, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
